And because this was such an stunning and stoned gig I felt like to upload the complete discography including one live album and two Split 7". OM consists only of two people. Al Cisneros also was a part of the legendary Sleep few years ago. I guess there is, for now, nothing more to say about OM.

Dominik Eulberg

Back from the Roadburn Fest ready to put on some tunes again!

First I am going to introduce you to Dominik Eulberg. This guy is a genius at creating wonderfull minimal techno tunes. I put up two of his albums that I came across in the last weeks, Flora & Fauna and Heimische Gefilde. I hope you like the stuff.

Cobalt

Taste some war metal fucker!

Cobalt is a two piece black metal band from Colorado, United States. The first full length album they released was "War Metal" in 2005. The music of Cobalt could really be the soundtrack for some unholy nuclear war or something like that. The drums are just banging your ears while sharp riffs fly out of the amps to kick your ass. For me Cobalt, which are signed on Profound Lore Records is one of the best us black metal bands in these days.

Burial

I guess you think of a Doom, Sludge or some Black Metal band when you hear the name Burial? But guess what this Burial is meant to give you chills with a mixture of electro, ambient and a big hint of dub step. Behind the name Burial stands the London based artist William Bevan. His two records Burial (2006) and Untrue (2007) just crushed the spot.

Coil

Do you mind some tunes that should be played only at night time? So here you get serviced now!

Coil is one of the most respected bands in the genre of industrial/psych of all times. Great bands like Ulver, Nine Inch Nails and a lot of other musicians always mentioned to be directly influenced by the sound of Coil. The two albums I was putting on last night are Musick to be played in the Dark Volume I & II. That is not directly the "old" Coil style like on records like "Horse Rotorvator". But it shows which amazing and disturbing soundscapes this band was up to do.

Also remember John Balance for a second who found his way up to the allmighty on 13th of November 2004. You can find the Coil webpage here, and exchange your money for some records here.

Fistula

What a nice and sunny sunday afternoon today. Time for some yammie Sludge!

Fistula is a five piece Sludge Doom Band hailing from Ohio, the United States. Bhab Branka and Corey Bing are also members of Ultra Lord, Rue and King Travolta. The sound that stands for Fistula is a mix of dirty Sludge and crushing Doom in the style of Bands like Grief, Dot[.] or Sourvein.

I am posting all that I collected so far by the Band (includes all regular Albums and two EP's). If you got more (especially the Splits!) don't hesitate to drop me a line. Spiritual Front

Simone Salvatori started in the late 90's the Neo-Folk project Spiritual Front. Hailing from one of the oldest cities in Europe, Rome, Spiritual Front create music that's based on influences of Neo-Folk, Post-Punk and Dark-Cabaret. The Band itself call their style "Nihilistic Suicide Pop". The lyrics mostly tell about anonymous sex in some bar toilet or late evening full of alcohol and melancholy.

Tribes Of Neurot

In 1995 Neurosis formed their side project Tribes of Neurot which focuses more on the experimental side of music. The sound of Tribes of Neurot consists of elements such as drone influences, free form and dark ambient soundscapes. The first releases Silver Blood Transmission and Grace coincide with the Neurosis records Through Silver in Blood and Grace.

For your enjoyment I am going to post two releases which don't coincide with the works of Neurosis (maybe I will do this in a few more days...who cares). The first record is a two CD release from 2002 (Adaption&Survival)which is mostly containing recorded insect noises. This puppy is not to be meant for an easy listening evening, but if you give the music the chance to drag you down to this evil swamp of noises I bet your head will feel like a sponge.

The second one is called Meridian and was released in 2005. Dark Ambient mixed with drone influences and some soft noise.
